Institute of Marine Biology and Tourism Organization Kotor agreed on joint promotional activities
Kotor, 7 November 2019 – Directors of the Institute of Marine Biology and Tourism Organization Kotor agreed today on cooperation between two institutions in presentation and promotion of the Aquarium Boka in the country and abroad, at the meeting held at IMB in Kotor today. Cooperation is framed with the Cooperation Agreement and will also cover the development of new tourism products based on the natural heritage of Boka, especially the biodiversity of the sea and joint development and implementation of projects.
Dr. Mirko Đurović, IMB Director, said that “Tourism Organization Kotor is a crucial partner for branding Aquarium Boka as new touristic offer in the Boka region”.
Ana Nives Radović, ToK Director, added that “Aquarium Boka will support efforts for diversification of the touristic offer and decreasing over-tourism in the Old City of Kotor”.
The Aquarium Boka is one of the main products of the MonteAqua project. The expected opening date is June 2020.
