The first visitors of the Adriatic Biodiversity Conservation Center “Aquarium Boka” today, organized by the Institute of Marine Biology of the University of Montenegro, were awarded students of the Elementary School “Savo Ili\u0107”. The aquarium, on an area of \u200b\u200b300 m2, is located in the Radoni\u010di\u0107 Palace in Kotor, which is a cultural monument of Montenegro.<\/p>\n

The head of this Center, Mirko \u0110urovi\u0107, PhD, said that today, for the best students of this school, a free educational program was organized, which introduced them to all the splendor and richness of the living world of the Adriatic.<\/p>\n
In the Aquarium, in three interconnected rooms, children could see the marine flora and fauna of the Mediterranean, the Adriatic and the Bay of Kotor. In one room dedicated to the Bay of Kotor, a touch tank is also available, where children could touch the water and feel the proximity of organisms in the pool and learn more about the flora and fauna of Boka.<\/p>\n
The aquarium will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 11.00 to 19.00, at promotional prices, which are 50% reduced compared to standard prices. The “Aquarium Boka” will be closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays. The ticket price, for an adult, at a promotional price is five euros, for children and teenagers (6-18 years) three euros, for a family of three and four, 11 euros.<\/p>\n
