It grows up to 15 cm, mostly 5.5-12 cm.\u00a0The head occupies almost one third of the body. The mouth is therefore, proportionally, very big.\u00a0 It hunts small fishes, cephalopods, crustaceans and annelids. It is a hermaphrodite species.
