Boka Aquarium participated in the already traditional “Days of Science and Innovation” festival this year, in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technological Development as well as the Maritime Faculty.

Journey through knowledge is the slogan of the eleventh edition of the “Days of Science and Innovation 2023” Festival, which, from September 27 to 30, celebrated science and innovation in as many as 13 cities across Montenegro.

Like last year, the Boka Aquarium actively participated in the event, hosting over 500 children from primary and secondary schools from the central and northern parts of Montenegro.

The students, accompanied by a guide, had the opportunity to get to know the living world of the Adriatic Sea, which was collected and exhibited in the premises of the Aquarium Boka. Over 50 plant and animal species are currently in the aquarium’s exhibition pools. Through the presentation and story about their ecology, their role in ecosystems, the children had the opportunity to learn about the importance of the diversity of plant and animal species, the basic factors that threaten them, as well as the role of humans in preserving what nature has given us.
