Grass goby (Lat. Gobius ophiocephalus). An epibenthos species that lives in shallows, rivers and lagoons, hidden in seagrass meadows on muddy bottoms. It can grow up to 24.5 cm in length. The body is oblong, cylindrical at the front and laterally flattened at the rear, with a large head. The head and body are greenish yellow to brownish green. It feeds on bottom-dwelling animals, fish and larger crustaceans. It is cought with small coastal fishing gear.
